I am fascinated by the idea of synesthesia, the phenomenon that involves multiple neurological senses. In some form of synesthesia, some visual stimuli can cause auditory responses. The body indicates a sound in response to a visual signal.
Reading is a form of synesthesia. When we read, there is a mental space that opens a depth that go beyond the letters printed in black on white paper.

If I say that, it’s because the reading of my objects and their mental capacities of suggestion is important in my work.
I make objects by writing and combining references to music, sound, sculpture, mathematics, drawing, poetry, language, typography…

The visible is not enough to understand what we see. We can interpret the visible only in reference to the invisible.
What we see will never be what we hear, and yet, as synesthetic phenomenon, we know that feelings are not exclusive.
